Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has a good minerally crispness. Light malts, provide a modicum sweetness. A fair bit of tang in the mid, kinda Belgian tang. I bought this because it was brewed with Lemondrop and Cashmere hops. There is a decent citrus here and it is definitely lemon orientated but more in the peel direction, kinda lemon marmalade without any sweetness. None of the brighter lemon or lemon sherbet I was hoping for from previous encounters with this hop. Finishes with a mild hop itch and leaves a lemony piney linger. Interesting and drinkable.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Hazy bronze body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of rust, cigarette butt and earth. Flavour of dried grass and and a bitter finish. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Dry and papery. Sadly, it’s not great.
