Cask at CPK, Pimlico on 7th November 2014. Deep ruby to black with pale tan lacing head. Lush, thick roast malts and spices in aroma. Burnt, roasty malts in-mouth with smoke, cream and nuttiness. Solidly bitter finish - rich and intense. Plenty of body and a full-on engaging mouthfeel. Exquisite, possibly my "Beer of 2014"!!!

Cask (handpump) @ EBF17 2014, 17th Egham Beer Festival, Egham United Services Club (EUSC), 111 Spring Rise, Egham, Surrey, England TW20 9PE. [ As Hop Kettle Black Adder ].Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, citrus, grapefruit, roasted, chocolate, sweet malt - fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask at the egham festival.. Deep brown... Thin tan lacing... Big zezty woody hop nose.. Dark malts... Soft roast... Light pine..
