Rating 5,700. 440ml can. Pours dark orange brown with a thin head. Aroma is bready toffee and some hedgerow fruits. Taste has bready malts and caramel throughout.

Cask at Hogshead, Wolverhampton Pours a hazy “bitter brown” with a small cream head and good lacing. Has an intriguing aroma of toffee and summer fruits. In the mouth there is a crwamy texture and complex flavours including toffee (mainly), apples, blackberries with hints of honey and barley sugar. Finish is fruity. A nice take on a traditional bitter.
