Rustbucket is a balance of rye and barley malt. The rye gives it a little spiciness which combines nicely with hops that contribute a citrusy note.

440ml can from Paus Craft Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy medium amber colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light tropical citrus hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, somewhat rich, fruity, grainy mineral, floral hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Blik 44cl thuis. Hoppig, tropisch fruit, grapefruit, bitter, beetje waterig, rogge op achtergrond. Meer ipa dan roggenbier. (27-3-2020).

Tap at Kompaan. Almost clear dark golden with white head. Spicy rye, bread, sweet malts, spicy and weedy hops with some grass and fruit peel as well. Quite some spicy notes from not just the rye or seems. Light cheesy. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with a bit creamy feel. OK.

[50cl bottle picked up in Donegal Town.] A bright reddish amber pour with a thick white head and moderate carbonation; grapefruit aroma with a touch of spice and yeast; nice fruity citrus taste with a touch of spice from the rye. Rather good.

440ml can in garden, from Sterk, Amsterdam, consumed 26th May 19. Actually meant to pick up their BIPA, cans looked similar, pretty angry when I got home. Any way this one is also on its BB date, but still good. Pours a copper colour and pretty clear. Aroma is light caramel, stone fruit. Taste is caramel, grains, quite bitter, then some mellowness, it's got a bitter finish and is all round pleasant. Good. I'll try the BIPA next time I see it!
