Rustbucket is a balance of rye and barley malt. The rye gives it a little spiciness which combines nicely with hops that contribute a citrusy note.

Clear gold with a frothy, white head. Mango aroma with sweaty T-Shirt underneath. Mildly bitter. Finishes the same, with a hint of rye. Light to medium-bodied. Ok.

Hazy russet-amber coloured beer under a small off-white head. Rosewater, asafoetida, seemingly tired hops, oxydized, yoghurt or milk shifting. In the taste, the rye takes over - thankfully. Again yoghurt, but clean, rosewater. Faint banana. Light body, but very oily - hopslick. Medium to good carbonation. OK, but nothing special.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy orange to amber with a proportionate, slightly off white head. Nose - plant stalk, light dishcloth, fresh sweat and lime. Taste - lime, green apple skin, plant stalk again. Some cakey rye spice but really dominated by the hop bitterness. Palate - light bodied, good bitterness and good linger. Overall - not as much maltiness as I expected. It really is more hop-driven.
