Deeper copper coloured body with a faint glimmer of actual ruby and red tints towards the bottom, but also some browner notes as well, all without much head at all - not really anything. Aroma of very subtle, stale malts with some toast and grain on the nose, but that's about it. Light-bodied; Sharp malty notes show the stale malt and a dash of very subtle hops come through as well, but not much exciting and a funky dose of yeast and bread as well. Aftertaste has the stale malt flavour again with this time something else different at least - some nuts and earthiness, but again, on the bad side of things. Overall, a pretty bad beer, even for the style and while there wasn't much to enjoy about this one, at least it had the name of the brewpub in the title. Again, I wouldn't get this one as a full pint, but a sampler at least was palatable. I sampled this four ounce pour on draught, as part of the full nine-beer lineup sampling, from the brewpub/brewery in Rapid City, South Dakota, just hours after landing in the state [for the first time, ever] on 25-June-2020 for US$12,25 (for all nine beers!).
