12oz bottle pours a clear brick red with some creamy, lacing white head. Nose is nice and approachable, orange, grapefruit, lemon candy, malt, cracker, some hand soap. Flavor is solid too, bitter, soapy, pine, grapefruit pulp, orange zest, a little vegetal, some malt, cracker. Medium bodied, lightly sweet, lightly bitter finish.

From a 12 oz bottle shared in Avon NC. Pours a clear amber with a thick off white head. Somewhat sour citrus nose. Flavors of grass and light citrus. Mild bitter finish. An okay IPA.

Pours clear copper color with off white head. Floral hop aroma with some toasted malts and a little dankness. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet caramel flavor with some pine. Medium body with average carbonation.

Clear dark amber with a sticky, off-white head. The aroma is a little different. Woodsy, with a melon rind hop aroma. The flavor has a good bitterness to it with a nice dry finish. Needs a little more malt in the middle to balance. It seems hollow somehow.

Bottle in NYC. Pours clear, deep copper with a moderate, foamy white head. Hmm, the beer seems to have some odd off-flavors. There’s some bread, musty wood, dried caramel, herbal pine. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Dry, earthy, piney and herbal bitterness on the finish, low sweetness, more musty wood, basement. Pretty poor.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours a clear amber color with a frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of floral, herbal hops with toasted malts and a bit of raisin. The taste is resin and herbal hops, caramel malts. Medium bodied, well balanced.
