Very hazy amber beer, thin pale cream coloured head. Palate is minerally crisp. Sweetish dried fruits are dominated by big cinnamon and cloves. Finishes semi dry. Not exactly subtle spices eh?

Bottle share at the Watford Tasting from the London bridge Oddbins. Aroma is spruce needles, cinamon. Orange, caramel pour, no head to speak of. Flavour is heavy on the christmas spices, nutmeg, cinamon pine needles, not much beer flavour. lots of spices.

Bottle thanks to Fergus at his December Watford Tasting. It pours deep amber-brown with a small beige head. The nose is Xmas spice, toast, earth, orange squash, toffee and varnish. The taste is toast, spice, earth, caramel, toffee, spruce wood and orange peel with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Smooth, spicy and well-balanced. Pretty tasty and well-rounded.
