Bottle at home, bought from Bourne Valley Farm Shop. Sweet aroma - floral, burnt sugar, malt. Light chestnut. The off-white head soon fades away to a few spots. Still quite cold so may be doing it a injustice in terms of flavour. A light sweetness. Caramel. Gets more malty in to the finish - a hint of bitterness. Light bodied. Not unfair to describe it as watery. A real fizz from the carbonation in to the finish, which is quite abrupt. Can’t argue with this being described as a session beer, but not one I’d pick over new ticks.

Cask at the Crown, Horsell. Pale chestnut with a tight beige head that laces the glass nicely; biscuity malt aroma; biscuity malt taste with some caramel; then a dry finish with a light woody bitterness. An old fashioned bitter, very drinkable.
