Gravity cask at the 28th St Albans Beer Festival, 26/09/25.
Light black topped with a tan cap.
Nose is big on liquorice, herb, dark malts, fruit esters.
Taste comprises tangy fruits, mellow roast, charr, cocoa dusting.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close.
Okay if a touch overly tangy for my liking.

Cask @ Crown & Kettle, Manchester. Black with a small creamy off-white head. It's a spicy stout but nothing overbearing in this respect.
