Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 3rd January 2026. Pale gold with shallow, disappearing, non-lacing foam. Malty aroma with agreeably sweet fruits. Nutty malts in-mouth and a finish that adds bitterness to the mix. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Hazed pale golden color with a thin layer on top. Mild intensity in the aroma. Light body and a soft carbonation level. Mild malty, mild fruity and faint citric flavor. Not really exciting.

Handpull cask at the Ale Wagon, Cambridge. Light gold with some uneven white head. Clear. Touches of white grape and fresh grass in the soft aroma. Bitter taste with metallic and vinous hop. Soft carbonation in the mouth. One of those beers where the sum of parts is greater than the whole. Still underwhelming though.
