Puzzle Series #11 Kia Ora - Superdelic

Can, 0.5l. Murky orange pour, half finger soapy white head, short lasting, nice lacing on the glass. Juicy and grassy notes on the nose, ripe tropical fruits, wet grass, candy. Herbal notes in the background.

Medium body, soft to medium carbonation, lively. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, fizzy, chewy. Easily drinkable. Nicely balanced taste, juicy sweet with mild hop bitterness lingering in the background. Aroma of caramel malt, ripe tropical fruits, citrus peel. Grassy and herbal notes, spice, minerals, oats. Mild veggie notes. Subtle hop burn, slightly drying. Long lasting finish, sweet, dry and juicy, lingering hop bitterness.

0.5 l can shared with Marko, thanks. Hazy dark orange, small off-white head. Aroma is intense hoppy, pungent herbal aroma, wild herbs, laurel, spice, biscuit and ripe fruit. Smooth, medium body, soft carbonation. Sweetness. Maltiness in the back. But up front, lots of NZ hops in the flavour. Herbal, lightly spicy and fruity. Creamy, some bitterness in the finish. A weird balance between sharp NZ hops and milkshake softness, but somehow works.

0.5l can from Pomalo ZG, shared with Hrabren. Greyish dark orange body, off-white head, greyish, huh. Pungent citric (orange) and wild herbal hoppy notes, maquis really, but in a good way. Lean, dry taste, creamy peach and orange notes, light herbal undertones, not much bitterness. This is actually nice! It looks suspicious, the 5 is even generous - but it drank pretty good, din't it?

Canned 500ml. -at Goblet Zagreb. Hazy orange/golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, onion and light sauerkraut in the nose. Same in the taste; onion, sauerkraut, herbal and light fruity with earthy bitterish finish. Home brew level. Bad can or...
