Cask at the Angel, JDW - Londkn. Pours totally clear copper-gold with a frothy, off-white head. The nose has lightly toasted malts, leaves, citrus peel. Light to medium sweet flavor with cheap bready malts, a little toffee, leaves. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Simple bready, leafy and a little twiggy to finish. Some grainy spice adds a little drama. Overall, mediocre.
