A beer commissioned by Kathryn hey in remembrance of her ancestor Joseph Hey of J. Hey & Co. Ltd; Northbrook Brewery Bradford, which closed 50 years ago. Hey’s Gold is a combination of East Kent Goldings and Saaz, which gives the beer a hint of honey along with a subtle earthy, herbal and spicy flavour.

Calderdale Beer Festival 2016. Golden coloured ale. Hoppy bitter with some very light caramel available in its aftertaste.
