[ As De Jyske Bryghuse Monsieur Le Detective ].Clear medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, moderate yeasty, candy, sweet yeast, yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, candy, yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140228]

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland 28/02/14. Lightly hazed golden amber with thin off white spotting/edgework. Nose is yeast esters, light spice, dark fruits, toffee notes. Taste comprises caramel, light booze, big yeast licks, bitter orange, more yeast esterism. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a little booze. Ok.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a dense, off-white head. Very fruity nose with a touch of Belgian yeast. Medium body, caramel and fruit with a distinct Belgian yeastiness. A little late hops. A very straight and decent Belgian Blond. 040314

Bottled, thanks fonefan! Hazy amber, small head. Marzipan and caramel. Mid sweet, light-medium body, well rounded mouthfeel. Marzipan, almonds, bubblegum. Fairly low bitterness.

Bottle. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma has banana dominating, with some pale malts, clove hints and citrusy hops. It’s effervescent and full-bodied, with flavors of sweet malts, banana, some spices and a pleasant bitterness. Lots of cloves in the finish, with banana and a touch of yeast. Ok, it’s not bad in any way, but it feels pretty messy and seems to have an identity crisis. 140228

Flaske fra Qvickly Nørrebro, på hytta: "Belgian style ale"?? Lite aroma og ingen belgisk skumkvalitet. Er dette en blonde, farmhouse, saison eller hva? Belgiske øl er blandt de jeg liker aller best, men denne blir liggende i veikanten. Iflg. etiketten er der brukt Saazhumle og trappistgjær. Det hjelper ikke, denne er virkelig kjedelig og med en emmen ettersmak.
