Daim Store is the rebellious lovechild of dark indulgence and toffee madness. This beast of a beer takes everything you love about Daim bars—rich caramel, smooth chocolate, and that subtle crunch of almond—and cranks it up to 11. A full-throttle imperial stout with a decadent sweetness, it’s brewed to satisfy your darkest cravings. With a heavy hit of roasted malt and an ABV that packs a punch, it’s not just a dessert beer—it’s a riot in a glass.

Keg at Brewdog Lothian Road. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of chocolate and toffee. Taste is more of the same. Does what it says on the tin.

Keg at BD Castlegate. It pours jet black with a deep tan to brown head. The aroma is super dark roasted malt, layers of chocolate, brownies, cookies, toasted nut, praline, coffee grounds, toffee, caramel and definite daim bar vibes. The taste is initially bitter - sweet, slick, oily, dark roasted malt, touch of burnt toast, coffee
grounds, nuttiness, walnut, dull vanilla, fudgey, toffee, caramel, choc chip cookies, cacao nibs, milk chocolate tart and some rawness, boozey warmth. Finish is slightly astringent with burnt toast character. Fullsome body, fine carbonation and slick mouth feel. Novel. Like the aroma, but the taste is a bit rough around the edges. Fun nonetheless.
