Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours darkest brown with a small tan head. The nose is rich, roasty, rich dark chocolate, peanut butter, candy, sweet, juicy, liquorice, peanut butter cup and earth. The taste is smooth, roasty, toast, prune, plum, raisin, earth, nut, earth and toast with a laid-back finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Loving the peanut butter on the nose. Easy drinking also. Nice.

Taste pretty damn good actually. Peanut really works well with this. Just enough to give a nice taste. Cloudy dark brown without any head or lacing. Nutty dark chocolate aroma with nice roast. Finishes with bitterness and sweetness. On tap at DC Beer Festival.

A hazed dark brown porter with a thick frothy nitro brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light peanut vanilla, malt balls, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light vanilla and chocolate covered malt balls, a bit musty, surprisingly good. On tap at Corner Foodery.

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland 28/02/14 cheers to an IP trade with James (jtclockwork). Dark mahogony brown with a moderate beige head. Nose is peanut butter alright, sweet licks, cheap chocolate aroma. Taste is even sweeter, more cheap chocolate, less peanut butter than nose, sugars . Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so, a little 1D and cheap chocolate takes over from the peanut butter goodness once the beer passes your lips.

Bottle, 12oz. A lightly unclear dark brown beer topped by a dark beige head. The aroma is very peanut-ish, with mashed bananas in the back. A faint chocolate and coffee touch blends in. Feels pretty sweaty actually. The flavor is chocolatey and peanut buttery, with some banana. Roasted malts too. Full body, pleasant carbonation. Lasting finish. Sure a weird one, but fun to taste. Can’t imagine I will be able to drink a bottle on my own. 140228
