Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are peanut butter, caramel, chocolate syrop, little coffee and hops. Sweet and a bit odd.

From notes, consumed on 4/15/13. Bottle poured into a tulip pint glass. Pours dark brownish black with a finger of off-white head. Aromas of peanuts, peanut butter, chocolate. Tasting notes of bitter chocolate, peanut butter caramel, artificial/chemical flavors. Enjoyed this the first one or two times I had it but after that I’ve been picking up more of the artificial flavors. Medium-light body with a semi-dry finish.

12 oz bottle. Black pour with an off-white head. Very roasty coffee aroma with toasted peanut and milk chocolate. Flavor has a roasty balance of peanut and coffee on milk chocolate, hints of breakfast cereal and malted milk balls, with a clean, fairly light palate. It’s rather enjoyable, though rather light.

Bottle. Pours unclear deep brown, small tan head, done lacing. Aroma is really peanut butter, chocolate, roast, tobacco, mint. Flavor follows, pb, chocolate, mint, medium sweet, light bitter, bit of coffee on the finish. Medium body. Pretty interesting as a novelty; not sure i could drink an entire bottle

16oz pour at the Wharf Rat. Pours a inky brown with some creamy off white head. Nose is like a snickers that got smashed in your pocket, milk chocolate, nutty, malt, a little raspberry too. Flavor has lots of chocolate, malt, mild almond. Sweet finish. Chick beer.

Brownish-black pour with a medium khaki head that recedes steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of chocolate, peanut butter and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, peanut butter and sweet chocolate. The finish is roasted nuts and chocolate. Decent overall.

Delightful peanut butter aroma with just the right hint of chocolate. Not much weight to it either.

Location: 12 oz bottle with jcos, 10/6/13

Aroma: The nose is roasted coffee malts, dark chocolate, and peanut butter
Appearance: It pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head and spotty lace
Flavor: The flavor is really a lot like a peanut butter cup, with dry roast and dark chocolate
Palate: The feel is very smooth and rich, with a soft carbonation, and a dry roasted finish
Overall Impression: This is a very interesting beer. It's got all the fun of a peanut butter cup without becoming overly sweet. The roasted coffee malts provide a nice balance. Very nicely done. I really enjoyed this.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a black color with a medium sized foamy brown head that faded and left minimal lacing. The aroma was roasty chocolate, nut, coffee and a hint of peanut butter. The flavor was dryish and somewhat bitter with notes of cocoa, roasty malts, nut, toffee and coffee. Long dryish, bitter and roasty finish of coffee, cocoa and nut. Medium body. Solid but I was hoping for better.
