Cask-conditioned at the Fat Pig, Exeter 14/1/2017. Medium brown with a frothy, off-white, head. Malty bitter, with some hedgerow fruits, slight toastiness and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Cask at Fat Pig, Exeter. It pours darkest brown with a decent white head. The nose is soft, earthy, decent roast, wood, leather, dried fruits and a touch of umami. The taste is smooth, bitter, earthy, dark fruits, toast, cereal, leather, touch of spice and light acidity with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Great condition. Decent ale for sure.
