Bottle that my Mum & Dad brought back from the Scillies. Pours a golden-amber with no head. Looks flat but does have a slight fizz. Cloying caramel, butter and vanilla dominate, uet the beer is still on the thin side. Hidden somewhere behind this are actually some rather nice fruity hops- orange, definitely, and maybe some apple. In fact, almost apple pie-like at one point. There’s a faint haybarn bitterness at the end, although it’s quite a dirty unkempt barn. The sweet, cloying, greasy butter is the main thing here though- it gets quite unpleasant by the end.

On gravity at the Tuckers Maltings Beer festival, Newton Abbot 23/04/10. Amber coloured with a decent white head. Crisp cereal malts with some fruity hops and lingering bitter finish. Quaffable stuff.
