Draught @ the brewery (Nov 2025). Opaque dark brown with a large foamy beige head, citrus-mocha aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter mocha-citrus peel taste with alcohol undertones, smooth thin body, long bitter finish. Tasty, more like a porter than an IPA.

Big & black fer sure. Slight aroma of IPA. Nice lacing. Taste is that, mostly IPA but I think I feel some rye in there too. Not as rude as most black IPA I’ve tasted but it is IPA. Perhaps a little more well behaved than an IPA so I bet its more like a black AP, heheh. Yes, a little better than expected.
