The delicious, refreshing taste of Summer Ale comes from a substantial portion of wheat malt added to a traditional barley malt mix which gives this delicious brew a unique tartness not found in many light ales these days. No surprise – this light, thirst-quenching brew is best enjoyed on hot summer days.

Bottle. Clear gold color with a medium sized head. Aroma was weak, with hints of grass, hay, and bread. Taste was not very good, weak, wheat and hay.

Gezapft in einem Comedy Club in NYC. Farbe: Gelb, Klar, Wenig Schaum Aroma: Säuerlich, Grapefruit, Zitrone. Geschmack: Säuerlich. Zitrus, etwas Getreide. Erfrischend aber kommt an die guten Sommer Ales bei weitem nicht heran.

malt aroma with a very mild spice hint. Amber with a nice head. Taste of roasted malts and cloves. Palate contains spices that are detectable on the back of the tongue. Soft mouthfeel.

I got this bottle in a trade with jwc215. Thanks Joe!
It pours a clear pale gold with a 1 finger head of foam that shrinks quickly to a fine layer. Some lacing.
The smell is very light with some corny notes and just a touch of hop bitterness reaching my nose buds
The taste has that hop bitterness, slight citrus mostly just plain bitterness and some slight grain but mid palate on it becomes very watery and it has no flavour to it at all. Weird.
Light bodied, medium carbonation, the finish, again, to me tastes only of water and that's not going to make me want have another bottle, for sure. This one I cannot recommend.

355ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, white head. Expressionless, slightly strawy, pale malty aroma. Taste is minimally strawy pale malty, a touch of hay; monotonous, watery. Forgettable.
