On tap at bocktown. First off, I’m not a fan of impy stouts and if you are, you need to try this. Big & black. Slight volatile dark beer aroma. No head. Wew, the fist taste is boozy high alky impact. Quite a knock back. Way too rude for this lager lover and there is this warming sensation all the way down the gullet. Interesting oxidized effect provides some hints of aged heavy duty beer. Yes, as the session continues, I get more used to this stuff and it almost becomes appealing as long as I just sip it. Could not drink another but not as nasty as many impy stouts I’ve had.
