"Martinsbräu Laurenzi-Festbier", Flasche von Getränke Roth, Hösbach. - Satt rotgold, klar.

Tap (@Rose, Lohr)Deep golden, visible carbonation, big, stable and creamy off-white head; honey, nuts and herbal hops and some barnyardy traces in the nose; mild to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, pretty thin for a Maerzen, but soft at least; slightly lingering malty-caramelly finish with a very delicate tinge of hops. Not unpleasant, but all in all pretty monotonous…

The aroma is malty, with a fine touch of caramel and some hops giving fruityness. There’s also some bready notes. Sweetish flavor on the malty side, slightly bready, with caramel and a gentle bitterness.
