Cask at Wallington Beer Fest 2014. It pours hazy deep brown with a bubbly beige head. The nose is earthy brett, woody, tart berry, malt vinegar, damp leaves, manure, lactic acid and spice. The taste is bitter, earth, wood, mild astringency, brett, malt vinegar, must, earth, yoghurt and a touch of berry skin with a drying finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. Not as sour as I had hoped for,, more earthy/funky. Decent stuff anyhow. Nice venture into the world of sour/wild!
