Gusher. Big beige head. Deep dark brown body made hazy by a mass of particles. Spicy licorice toffee aroma with roasty coffee notes. Dry-sweet deep salty licorice taste with burnt minty mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry burnt roasty chocolatey aftertaste with soy sauce and cinnamon notes. Very nice, highly drinkable, yet complex. (0.33l bottle, wine monopoly, web order.)

33cl bottle from Vinmonopolet Sandaker. Pours hazy brown with a small off-white head. Malty aroma with spicy notes and caramel, dark dried fruits and hints of hops. Medium sweet and malty with some slightly sour notes and a fairly light bitterness. Pleasant winter warmer.

On tap at Amundsen, Oslo. ABV was 7%. Dark reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head. Moderate but nice aroma, malts and a hint of spices. Malty flavour with some caramel, but not sweet. Some spices. Dry and dusty hops in the finish. Not bad, but not remarkable either.
