With smooth spice from rye malt and the ginger, this amber ale is lightly hopped and very refreshing. Pouring a pale amber, this beer is a take on the classic rye and ginger without the ginger kick.

Amber, basically bright. Mellow ginger nose. Sweet. Gingery, light biscuity malts. Good, balanced ginger brew.

Dark red-amber color. The slightest hint of ginger, a touch of caramel, drifting in no malt depth, with low bitterness, and little sweetness.
Clean, but very boring.

On tap at Bridge, pours a hazy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of ginger and nutmeg upfront, with light earthy notes from the rye. Flavour brings out toasted caramel malt, a nice touch of ginger, and I can't shake the nutmeg. Bit of sweetness in there to balance. Pleasant but unexciting.
