Can from Costco: pours brown with a light beige head. Aroma is light caramel, toast, some dark fruitiness. Not too sweet, but on the sweeter side. Low bitterness. A little chewy. Not bad.

16.9 oz. can from the Costco 2025 German Biergarten Collection. Pours a dark rusty brown color with a beige head and good retention. Good lacing too. Dark malt aroma. Sweet dark malt and toffee flavor throughout. Very simple profile, and it works. Very smooth, clean, and repeatable. And the 6.7% ABV is invisible. Medium body Lower than expected carbonation. No bitterness.

Whats a Dark Zwickl?? A dunkelbock I guess? Roast and a little coffee. Some caramel, light buttery vibe. Pours dark brown with pretty decent mocha head. Finish cloys a bit. Can from awdvent calendar from Costco.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear, nutty brown with a small, off-white head. Slightly nutty aroma. Solid malty body with some malty sweetness and a slightly roasty note. Some dark chocolate and dry licorice before some balancing bittering hops. A pleasant offering. 160221
