Growler (consumed about two months ago) pours with a clear amber looking body that supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up a steam beer sort of yeastiness along with light notes of caramel malts, malts and mild fruity esters. The taste stars with some malty sweetness and a bit of caramel malts that quickly moves into layers of tartness mixed with yeasty notes and light skin sweet fruity esters. Interesting.

Sample at the tap room. Clear brownish-amber color with a medium light beige head that diminishes gradually. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, grain and fruit. Light-bodied with a grainy malt character and notes of earthy hops and ripe fruit. The finish is malty up front with a fruity aftertaste. Above average overall.
