22oz bomber pours with a clear deep gold body that supports a dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up banana, mild roasted malts, some sweet malts and then a bit of an oak note. The taste has smooth subtly sweet banana mixing with pear and apple like fruity esters. To midway an oak note joins in and helps take this to the finish. Pretty tasty barleywine.

Sampled at GABF 2013. Pours a clear gold with some creamy, white head. Odd nose, trashy, malty, corn, malt liquor, smoke. Flavor is a little better, malt, honeycomb, smoke, some earthy mushrooms. Clean finish.
