Poured up on tap at Flanny’s in Tempe where it has clear copper body that has gold hues and supports a near white head. The aroma offers up some malts, a dash of Saison like spicy yeast and then thin slivers of red apples. The taste starts with a brief smooth sweet maltiness. It then quickly picks up Saison spicy yeast and honey covered tart green apples. This is decent enough but it is typical of American made Saisons that are too sweet and sluggish and can’t get out of their own way.
