On a flight at the source on 2nd April 2025. Six house beers, all different styles. This was fine, brown bodied, beige top, malty, roasted/toasted and a slightly burnt feel to the brew, neither sweet nor dry.

From a 12 oz bottle it is a dark brown with a slight head and the aroma is roasted coffee and the taste is a smooth flavor of milk chocolate that resonates coffee on the palate with a bitter finish

Reviewed from notes. From my AZ trip.
The appearance was a dark black color. one finger off white foamy head that quickly dies and leaves no lacing.
The smell had a mainly dark roasty chocolate, and I don’t know why but I get a rubbery sort of aroma - weird and as far as I knowits not necessarily unpleasant, its just different.
The taste was a roasty sweet chocolate, still getting the rubber in the taste as well, leaves the same aftertaste and has a super sweet sticky finish.
On the palate, it sat about a medium on the body, tries to show a sessionable aspect but maintains a somewhat heavier effect to make me try to sip it.
Overall, I say this is a pretty good stout I was surprised to find in AZ as I could definitely have this as a decent winter sipper or for those cooler nights at the least.

12oz bottle pours dark brown with a weak mocha head. The modest aroma pulls up earthy malts as well as dark roasted malts and a coffee sensation. The taste is alright where I get dark roasted malts, a dash of burnt malts here and there, dark roasted coffee and then slivers of malt sweetness for added interest. It becomes more roasty and burnt into the finish. Pretty tasty stuff.
