Hand-pulled third of a pint at the source on 14th May 2025 (part of a three beer flight). Golden body, almost clear, white affair on top. Slight citrus and floral nose/taste, all subtle and under stated, some malt action too, but again subdued rather than in your face.

Hand-pulled cask ale, half-pint, shared with Finn. Covering white head, clear warm golden body, dotted spots on the glass. Floral-fruity aromas with a citric twist. Citrus up front to the taste character joined by cereal malts and a note of biscuit. Rounded, mid-dry hop fruity end. Satisfying.
Third session at the 44th Liverpool festival, Metropolitan Cathedral Crypt

Cask at BoD, Alsager. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a small foamy almost white head and good lacing. There’s malts and yeast in the aroma. In the mouth it starts off quite sweet with a little underlying bitterness, and gradually these tow exchange rankings. Flavour has traditional hops with corn and traces of honey and caramel. Bitterness lasts into the finish. This is reasonable but not wildly exciting.
