Dull hoppy aroma. Wew, first taste is a big kick in the palate and now I see its almost 7% wew. Chewing on older green grapefruit rinds. Over the top and too much for these girlie taste buds. Finish is like licking slick oily liquid soap. Terribly on style if this is an doubly impy pale ale. Clean clear taste of a lager or do you imperial pilz? Brutally on hoppy style something strong or imperial.

bottle - Pours yellow-orange with a one finger off-white head. It smells of citrus hops. The flavor has some caramel malt and a good citrus hop character. So it’s a lager? Okay, it tastes like a pretty good IPA.

Overall - Seems to have held up well. Decent lager, but seems closer to a fairly strong APA

12oz bottle pours out a crisp golden topped with a white head. Nose is biscuit malts herbal hops and some sweetness. Taste is as the nose with a nice mellow hop profile and a good balance of malts.

(bottle, 35.5cl) Slightly hazy, golden colour with a mid-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Spicy hoppy aroma with herbal and slightly woody notes, backed by bready cara-malt. Bitter and mildly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Dry and bready cara-malty base with a good dash of herbal, woody and piney hops, leading into a dry and quite bitter, almost a bit astringent finish. Not perfectly balanced but might be a gem for hop heads like me. 25.IV.14
