We're turning things deliciously upside down with an aggressively hopped, cold-fermented brew that brings together the clean, crisp finish of a lager with the hoppy aroma and character of an IPA. Prost, to turning convention on it's head.

355ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Herbal hoppy aroma, slightly piney and citrusy, hints of lime. Taste is moderately bitter hoppy, slightly citrusy, notes of lime and lemon, a touch of orange zest, biscuity malt basis. Indeed, clean and crisp, IPA-like - very nice.

Bottle:Golden, big and loose White head; sweet caramel and dryish piney hops in the all in all bitter nose; robust bitter and sweet flavour, tart and relatively light bodied; lingering hoppy and caramelly finish. Very pleasant, hard to believe that this is an american Lager...

16oz pour at Station 4 in Washington DC. Pours a clear gold with some thick, frothy white head. Nose is fairly solid, some pungent citrus, lemon, orange, a little pine, some mild yeast. Flavor follows along, a distinct malt character, a little bready, a bit of metal, but then all lemon, orange, pine, soap. Crisp finish. Solid.

Bottle. A dense, off-white head forms over a clear, golden body. The aroma has some citrusy hops, with pineapple and grapefruit, not much maltyness. The flavor has a nice bitterness, with citrusy, piney hops and pale malts in the back. A nice bitterness in the finish too, with grapefruit. A nice beer indeed, very straight forward and far from complex. Drinks easy too. Dangerously easy considering the ABV. 140118
