This is a juicy, fruity milkshake IPA. Lactose provides a smooth, creamy mouthfeel, and passionfruit and mango are added to preserve as much fruit flavour and aroma as possible. This beer is also aggressively dry hopped with Amarillo and Simcoe hops to punch up the tropical fruit character.

You see, when you're having all kinds of problems getting your fermentation right, you probably shouldn't be doing whacky ambitious stuff with esoteric ingredients. Focus on the important stuff, like making a beer that doesn't taste completely green and devoid of any particular malt or hop character. Start with the start. Brewhall in August 2018 is a clinic in how not to make beer.

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy golden colour. Sweetish beer without clear lactose flavour, fruity character without clear mango flavour, very good body strength, enough bitterness, quite clean, and with good balance overall.
Not very bright, maybe a bit heavy, but definitively positive and pleasant.
