Slip into some sunshine and step off the grid by Goin’ Coastal with this pineapple laced IPA. The bright aromas of the five citrus hop additions are accentuated by the tropical fruit of the pineapple. And just like those three day weekends, its finish is quick. Golden copper in color with a full malt bill to bring the balance to our year round offering.

At a tasting, small stable creamy bubbly head, hazy deepish gold color, aroma of pineapple, watermelon and citrus, same traits in flavor, with a mellow bitterness, prickly carbonation. Really nice and enjoyable.

Nice aroma of citrus and hops. Taste of moderate hop bitterness, but more of a citrus quality to the bitterness. Some pineapple flavor evident.

Tap at Beer Hunters. Clear amber colour, small white head. Fruity pineapple aroma. Medium-bodied. Pineapple, piney sweetish flavour. Nectary. Feels a bit tired but I see potential.

Can from BrewDog Online. It pours clear amber with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, bright, juicy pineapple, juicy, tropical fruit vibes, bread and candied fruits. The taste is dry, bitter, quite bright, fresh, pineapple, quite juicy, dry pine needles, grapefruit, light pepper and a touch of sherbet with a firmly dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Quite bright and rather drinkable. Decent.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 10/3/2017. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, passion fruit, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper, pine, light caramel, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/pine hops, pineapple, and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, passion fruit, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper, pine, light caramel, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, passion fruit, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/pine hops, pineapple, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop/fruit astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.1%. Overall this is a very nice fruited IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/pine hops, pineapple, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Juicy and fairly dank hop complexity with great pineapple fruit balance; nice bready Munich malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. A very enjoyable offering. Just the right amount of fruit presence to not overwhelming the hop profile.
