Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is creamy rye malt, caramel, herbal hops, strawberries (!), biscuit, notes of red berries with some subtle pine needles in the finish. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with an above medium bitter finish. Body is medium with some creaminess. I expected some gimmicky pine needle beer, but this is much better.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy dark amber colored brew with an mild dry bitter taste, with hints of caramel and some pinetops.

330ml bottle [at 7.2% abv]. Minimally cloudy, amber colour with huge, frothy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Caramel malty, slightly fruity hoppy and sweet-ish, minimally perfumed, resinous aroma, hints of orange peel, a touch of honey, spruce, spruce needles, whiffs of bath salt, minimally waxy overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, minimally perfumed, sweet-ish, resinous, herbal-woody, hints of spruce, honey, mildly bitter and minimally fruity, hoppy hints of melon, minimally waxy and soapy overtones; increase of sweet- and fruitiness, additional hints of berries while warming up. Oily-watery texture, soft and minimally greasy, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Nice and balanced composition with flattering sweetness and interesting fruitiness - enjoyable.

33 cl. bottle @ Rick, shared with Suus, Alex and Rick. Hazy dark amber with an off-white head. Pine aroma, fruity hops and some light malt caramel. Taste is medium bitter. Nice unusual beer.

33cl bottle. A clear amber beer with a huge big good lasting beige head. Aroma of moderate resinous bitter hops, caramel, some spices. Taste of herbal spices, red malt, red fruits, resinous bitter hops, sweet caramel.

Bottle (from hetbiermoment). Pours amber with huge whiteish head. Aroma is sweet, cowberries, herbs. Flavor is sweet and bitter, more cowberries, sugar, hops, malt. Finish pine needles bitter with sugary sweetness and berries. Overall: bit off-kilter, but I like it.

On tap at NHBF’17. Hazy amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of pine, hop, caramel, resin. Flavour is caramel, toast, resin, pine, yeast, rather bitter finish. Light bodied, oily mouthfeel. OK stuff.
