[500ml bottle from Wadworth’s brewery shop] Pours amber with a small but lasting white head. Strong and pleasant aroma of biscuit-y malt. The light but tingly carbonation is rather pleasant. The flavour is a lot lighter than the aroma suggests, but conitinues along the biscuit-y malt theme. There is no trace of the usual Wadworths farmyard flavour. In fact, by the end it’s tasting rather watery, and has a very short finish indeed. Despite this, I actually rather enjoyed it - what flavour there is is very well balanced, and is bought to life by the slight fizz. It’d make a refreshing pint after exercise, and would be a good pint to wash down a pub meal with. c6
