OK, here goes: Evidently a rare beer or nobody wants to taste it. OH MY, you should see the things floating in there! From a bottle, lots of visuals in this otherwise pale lager lookin thing, that is except for the cloudy little balls in ther. Smell is sweet lager, something sweet on the nose fer sure. Taste is big strong as rude as IPA, no lie! Big plowing slam on my taste buds, its smell is unlike its taste, wew. Yes, a big penetrating nastyist steggem I can remember, what happened to the mild mannered brewery I knew in the past? I tell you, this site says 5% but it has got to be a 7%. I really think they got this batch mixed up with that expermental batch of IPA that steggie had hidden over in the corner. Man, those flakes just keep floating around in there, not sure if this is bad or what and if it is you can’t tell becasue of all the double hop bitterness. Does have a slight malt feel to it on the finish. Now I feel this weird citrus almost orange but more like a green bitter thing setting in. Kudos on the appearence! Since I’m an IPA hater, for the taste I was going to give this a 3, but now its growing into a 4.

Floral nose, honeysuckle, lemongrass, tulip. Clear amber, medium head. Surprising weight for the style, medium body. A tad cloying, cane sugar and lemongrass. Sugary sweet finish. Neat idea, and the aroma was spot on. It just doesn’t taste as good. Dial back the adjuncts and this could be a very good beer.

Draft at Billy Jack’s Harrisonburg. Pours a clear golden color with a thin frothy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of honey and grainy malts. The taste is honey, bread, grain and a tart finish. Medium bodied with high carbonation.
