Cask handpull at the Seven Stars, Bristol. Much enjoyed over a couple of nights in the city. Pours very dark brown with a fairly small tan coloured head. Dark roasted malt aroma with chocolate and dark fruits. Light-medium bodied with fine carbonation. A very good mild.

cask at some big fancy castle like thing beer festival in london Easter 2013 ... Dark brown ... thin tan head ... soft dark chocolate roast nose ... dark fruits ... soft dark suger.

Cask at the Merchants Inn, Rugby - 19/09/12. Dark chestnut brown with a good mocha head and decent lacing. Nose comprises dark fruits, nuts and toffee. Taste follows on but more caramel than toffee, slightly sweeter tones. Medium bodied with minimal carbonation. Decent mild.

Gravity cask at the Wandsworth Halloween Festival 2011. Pours brown with a foamy, light beige head. Dark malt nose, subtle roast, some dark fruits. Pleasant flavor, dark toast, dark dough, some pumpernickel bread, light earth. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dark malt finish, some toast and dough, a bubbly tingle, slight burnt grass, very mild roast. OK. (October 2011, score: 3.2)

Cask at GBBF 2016. Day 1. Pours deep brown with a creamy, tan head. Dark fruits in this one, with light cocoa aspects. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly drying in the finish. Good mild. (August 2016, score 3.6)

Cask @ 3 Judges. Dark brown colour, tan head. Aroma is light malty, with some roastiness. Flavour is light roasted malts, bit of fruits. Pleasant.
