On tap at the monroeville location. Dark like an american dark lager. Thin vcreamy head. Not really a red ale per se. Not as bitter as most rye’s I’ve had in the past and I’m glad about that. Simply mild and enjoyable, it lets the fine points pass thru. Does not come across as strong as the 5.2% would let you think. Easy on the tongue and it goes down rather easy. Good beer tasting experience. Barely any bitter linger which makes this very well behaved for a rye. One of the better rye beers I’ve tasted.
