Cask at GBBF day 3 11/08/2016. A pale yelow golde coloured pour with a loose white head head . Aroma sweet butterscotch, diacetyl seeet malts. Flavour is composed of earthy, big diacetyl, butter, popcorn. Grassy. Palate is sweet chewy, moderate carbonation, ok. Pretty bad.

On cask from Coach and Horses - Clear yellow body, thin white head. Nose is grassy, a bit of citrus. Taste is a bit nondescript, a bit metallic, bland. Nah.

NWAF 24 Jan 13. Lys gylden. Nesten ikke skum. God sitrusaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken er kun sitrus. Blir litt tørr etter hvert.

Cask by handpump, half pint shared with Finn at our second day at The National Winter Ales Festival. Yellow-gold body, bright naked surface. Mild citrus fruits to the nose. Modest taste character of oranges leading to a fruit bitter end. Easy going (Manchester, 24.01.2013).

Cask conditioned at The Cross Keys, Belper, 17-01-08 Very Pale golden in colour with a tiny bit of haze. The nose on this one was a little more sulphourus than it’s stablemate Poets Tipple which I had first, but there was also some light fruitiness on the nose and then in the mouth. Lovely bitterness, great session beer, really impressed with both of these beers.

Cask at Peterborough Beer Fest. Clear golden. Aroma of vegetables and honey. Sweet and a bit sticky with rounded mouthfeel. Some more honey before a short salty bitterness sets in. A quickly forgotten beer that won no place in my heart.
