The taste is firmly dry, dark roasted malt, slick, oily, bitter - sweet, plenty of chocolate, gateaux, nutty, praline, vanilla cake frosting, dried fruits, prune, plum, fig roll, toasted nut, nougat, double decker and bourbon biscuits with a dry, boozey finish. Fulsome body and moderate carbonation. Great depth of flavour. Tasty.
