A smooth, balanced bitter. Brewed with traditional English hop and malt varieties, Star is our take on the classic British bitter, with a modern approach to brewing technique & ingredient sourcing. Aromas of nuts and winter berries combine with biscuit, caramel malt notes for an ale with herbal freshness & pleasing bitter finish.

Hops: Challenger, Golding, Target
Malts: Cara, Crystal, Roasted Barley, Maris Otter Pale

Cask at the Pineapple, Kentish Town on 26th November 2024. Clear copper with dense creamy white foam and scant lacing. Caramel malt aroma with berry fruits. Spicy fruit-mouth with a nutty kick, before a finish of maltiness and the odd leafy hop. Full bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

Tap at king's arms (not the good one, some random pub in the city of London). Nose is bread, orange, grains. Palate is watery citrus, bitter orange finish. Meh.

From Cask at The Barrel Vault (freakin’ spoons), 8 out of 10 beers served with a sparkler, at St Pancars International, London. Sweet aroma and taste of sweet pale malt, marmalade and biscuits. Well, well. Not everything can be saved by using sparklers. Very flat. Low bitterness.
