28th October 2023 Can. Opaque dark brown beer, small tidy tan head. Smooth palate, slightly soft and a whisper of viscosity, decent fine carbonation. Smooth sweet dark malts, a little dark malt cream and a good dark chocolate fudge that flirts with bitterness. Marshmallow is clear and present, sweet candy with an impressive depth of berry fruits, raspberry especially. Finishes smooth and semi dry with a modest alcohol spice. Rich and tasty but I started to hit a wall after half a can.

440ml can. Pours jet black with a large head, although mostly over my sofa after it being a major gusher. Aroma is sweet marshmallow, roast and a little liquorice. Taste is very sweet with marshmallow throughout and some bitter roast on the finish.
