Chocolate Vanilla Porter.

Award winning smooth imperial porter. Brewed with organic cacao nibs and Madagascan vanilla pods. Deep chocolate sweetness given balance by the fresh vanilla and deep roasty malts.

Keg @ The Foundry. Pours dark, deep espresso head. Inviting aroma of coffee, vanilla, dark malt, soft roast. I'm not really a nitro fan but was too tempted by the description.. and it paid off.. very prominent vanilla presence with chocolate sauce suggestions, soft roast with a little glimpse of coffee . Very nice indeed, served nice and cool.

1/3 pint, draught, sample tray at Foundry Brew Pub. Shared with Finn. Low off-white head to a deep black body, clingy lacing. Cocoa- chocolate aromas, inviting. Taste of vanilla chocolate, hints of caramel and liquorice as well. Smoothly roasted ending with warmth from the alcohol. Nice sipper, just a bit heavy to drink. (Canterbury 11.02.2023).

Flavour is dark choc, sweet vanilla and woody oak. Palate is sweet, some grain tanin. Lingering harsh dark roast. Bottle at home from the rot box, Had ignored this one for ages because everyone had had it. Has held up really well.
