Cask at the Nag’s Head, Reading on 20th September 2025. Crystal clear amber with shallow yet dense film and full lacing. Malty aroma. Nutty malts, grasses and ripe berry fruits in-mouth, and a finish of sweet fruits and nutty malts. Medium bodied with an engaging mouthfeel.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours golden yellow with minimal white head and good lacing. Oranges come through strongly in the aroma, plus other btropical ruits to a much lesser extent. In the mouth it starts off slightly bitter but with an underlying sweetness. Flavour has marmalade, orange peel and hints of honey. Bitterness gradually increase and becomes quite intense leading to a dry finish. This is entirely reasonable.

Cask at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Amber/gold pour with a white head. Nose is tropical fruit, citrus. Taste is peach, apricot, sweet citrus, tropical fruit. Hoppy fruity bitter finish. Nice.
