Can from Alefarm Beerclub @ Home. Pours clear very dark brown with an light brown head, some lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, bread, light caramel, chocolate, x-mas spices. Flavor is light light sweet, light spiced, roast malt, chocolate, spices, ginger. Medium body, average carbonation, light dry spiced finish. 020124

440ml can. Seemingly clear, dark brown colour with ruby shimmer and average to huge, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. X-masy spicy aroma, minimally chocolately, dark malty background, notes of allspice, ginger and clove, a touch of nutmeg, whiffs of cinnamon. Taste is slightly dry, spicy and toasty, minimally chocolately and nutty, dark malty, hints of allspice, ginger and clove, a touch of cinnamon and nutmeg, some caramel sweetness. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft carbonation. Quite spicy and a tad ginger dominated, rather disguised malt flavours - nothing wrong with it.
