Sours are all the rage these days…and IPA’s have been the rage for quite some time. So for our first ever sour, we decided to combine the two. We took our beloved IPA1A recipe, gave the grain bill a small tweek, introduced it to a specialized form of Lactobacillus (Plantarum) as the souring agent, and then we added copious amounts of dry-hops. In fact, we DOUBLE DRY-HOPPED this bad boy. The first round was with Citra, Amarillo and Simcoe; then a second round with Amarillo and Cashmere. The result is a deliciously refreshing sour combined with flavor and aroma from some of the best hops America has to offer. Born 3/3/17, we are confident Pucker Face will go down as one of the greats!

Dull, just a touch of haze. No head. Grapefruit orange hop and clean tartness. Fair bit of bitterness. Really nice blend of tart and bitter, mostly because of that nice orangey hop.
